Cloonacool Cycle - Thanks!
Cloonacool Cycle
The committee of St Michael’s (Cloonacool) Community Centre wish to express their sincere thanks to the people from Sligo and beyond who participated and made the second Cloonacool cycle such a great success. Including the main organiser John Brennan, 140+ cyclists, 90 helpers, the people who provided premises for food and toilet facilities, bike marshals, catering crews, bike mechanic, drivers/owners cars & bus, gardai, music/amplification, Order of Malta, sponsors of food, admin department & pick up trucks. All of the above gave their services and time free on the day to support the cyclists on each of the three routes. And due to the careful organisation of the event everyone had an enjoyable and safe day. Funds went to support the planned renovation of St Michael’s (Cloonacool) Community Centre.
